4.1 Articles:

Up to 7500 words (approximately 26 double-spaced pages), including the body text, and appendixes. The word limit does not include the title page, abstract, and references.

If a submission exceeds the word limit, the author must provide a justification for the length of the manuscript and request the Chief Editor’s approval for the overage. This request may be uploaded in a document with the "Cover Letter" item type or entered in the comment field in the submission system.

 

4.4 Headings

Please use no more than three levels of displayed headings.

 

4.5 Paragraph Breaks

Paragraph breaks must be visually designated. Please either indent the first line of each new paragraph or insert an extra line space between the paragraphs (the extra line should leave at least 5/8 in. or 1.5 cm of white space).

 

4.6 Page, Line, and Section Numbering

All submissions must include line numbering. Pages must be numbered sequentially.

 

4.8 Abbreviations

Abbreviations should be defined at first mention and used consistently thereafter. Abbreviations of titles of periodicals or books should be given by using Math‎. ‎Reviews‎, ‎see Abbreviations of names of serials or MRLookup at ‎http://www.ams.org/mrlookup‎.

 

4.9 Mathematical Formulas

Mathematical formulas can appear as display equations or in-line equations. Equation and mathematical formulas will be following ams-package.

 

4.10 Display Equations:

Display equations are centered on their own line and are usually numbered but do not have to be.

 

4.11 In-line Equations:

In-line equations appear in running text. When citing display equations in text, use either Eq. ( ) or ( ) consistently; do not mix the two styles.

 

4.13 Time

The recommended time annotation is coordinated universal time. Please use UTC instead of Z or GMT. Other time zones are permitted if they are defined. Four-digit astronomical or military time (i.e., 24-hour clock) is required.

 

4.14 Date

Dates must be written in “Day Month Year” format. Abbreviations for months are permitted only in figures, tables, and their captions. For example, the JMMF style for May 3, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. GMT is 1500 UTC 3 May 2015.
